The City of Fowler is a general law city organized under and subject to statutes of the State of California. It is governed by a five-member city council with the mayor as the presiding officer. Members of the city council are elected at large for four-year terms on an overlapping basis. The mayor and mayor pro-tem are selected by the city council. The City Council regularly meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 p. m. in the City Council Chambers located at 128 S. 5th Street, Fowler, California, 93625. The City Council also acts as the Fowler Redevelopment Agency and the Fowler Public Financing Authority.

Government Code Section 87200 and file statements of economic interests
with the City Clerk's office. Copies of the statements of economic
interests filed by the above elected officers may be obtained by
visiting the offices of the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC)
or the City Clerk. The physical address of the FPPC is 428 J Street,
Suite 620, Sacramento, California 95814. The physical address of the
City Clerk's office is 128 S. 5th Street, Fowler, CA 93625. The
statements of economic interests for some state and local government
agency elected officers may be available in electronic format on the
FPPC's website at www.fppc.ca.gov
