The City Manager is directly appointed by the City Council and is the Chief Executive Officer of the City. The City Manager directs and supervises the operation of all City departments and programs, sees to the preparation and management of the municipal budget, develops and implements City administrative procedures, analyzes legislation, provides intergovernmental representation and ensures that the Council’s legislative acts, policies, and programs are implemented. The City Manager makes recommendations to the City Council regarding the operation and needs of the City.
