 The
Public Works department is responsible for maintaining and repairing
the City’s streets, sidewalks, storm drainage facilities,
parks, infrastructure, water wells and lines, fleet and equipment.
The department also handles animal control and maintenance of
City buildings and facilities. Typical functions are street
sweeping, street patching and striping, concrete replacement,
street sign maintenance and replacement, and storm drain repair.
