NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 2012-01
Relating to Tobacco Retailer License

            On October 2, 2012, the Fowler City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2012-01, “An Ordinance of the City Council of the City of Fowler adding Chapter 20 to Title 5 of the Fowler Municipal Code Pertaining to Tobacco Retailers.”  The vote was as follows:  Ayes: Cardenas, Parra, Darling and Simonian. Noes: None. Absent/Abstain: None.  Specifically, the Ordinance requires tobacco retailers in Fowler to obtain and annually renew a license to sell tobacco products, and imposes penalties for violations, including selling tobacco products to minors.  The ordinance will become effective 30 days after adoption.
