At the City of Fowler, our Code Enforcement Division is committed to promoting and maintaining a safe, clean, and desirable environment for all who live, work, and visit our community. Our primary goal is to uphold the quality of life through the fair and unbiased enforcement of local ordinances and State regulations.
We strive to address issues that contribute to blight or public hazards by working collaboratively with residents, property owners, neighborhoods, public agencies and other City departments. Our team is trained and professional staff emphasizes education and voluntary compliance, aiming to resolve concerns in a respectful and community-oriented manner.
Code Enforcement is not law enforcement, and officers do not respond to criminal activity or emergencies. We do not handle neighbor disputes, tenant-landlord disagreements, or civil matters that fall outside the scope of municipal codes. Our role is not punitive, but rather centered on education, prevention, and compliance to support a healthier, safer and more attractive community.
